The hotel is family run and well maintained and clean. The building dates from a bygone era so it has a certain vintage charm which I could appreciate ... and the owners are present on site and appear to care about the comfort of their guests. The neighborhood, and indeed the entire city of Itea, has a melancholic feel of faded glory. Lots of abandoned/run down apartment and hotel properties along the walkway by the waterfront into the center, which is only 10 minutes away. If it weren't for its location a mere 20 minutes drive up to Delphi I don't think the town would have any particular draw on its own. The breakfast provided is quite satisfactory even though it's the same every day. But it's definitely in line with the cost/value proposition, which I felt was good. Oh, and we requested and got a room on the top floor with a huge terrace facing the water. Again very basic patio furnishings but the distant vistas were beautiful.

Hotel Kalafati is a great place, with the most hospitable people. It’s great there are carpets on the hall and in the rooms - there is not so much noise to compare with the ceramics on the floor. The room was lovely, clean, there was a lovely water heating kit so that you can make coffee or tea on your own. Everything was perfectly clean and fragrant. The cosmetics provided by the hotel was great quality and lovely usuall fragrance. I love it! The breakfasts were great, for me the best was cherry marmelade, which I was also given when I praise it during check out. I hope we will come back again. Thank you very much for our stay and your hospitality and kindness.

The Hotel is not particularly modern, but it is well maintained and cared for. The lobby is elegant, large with a nice bar area. Here it is also served the very goog breakfast, rich and varied with fresh products. The staff were particularly welcoming, very helpful and attentive. Our room had an unbelievably large terrace with a wonderful sea view. The hotel is located practically on the sea, a few steps from the lively promenade of Itea. We chose to stay here for our visit to the Delphi archaeological site and it was a great choice. I would recommend it.

This hotel is made up of wonderful people, it is a family hotel with a wonderful atmosphere from morning to night. I was there with family and friends for a short break and to watch the Rally of Greece 2024. The first visit there and immediately felt as if we had been there several times and known each other for years. Thank you, Big boss!

Great old-style hotel very close to the sea. Rooms were renovated and clean, with a great view of both the sea and mountains. Included breakfast was good for a hotel this size. Staff are very friendly and polite, and we even got an upgrade to a better room on the top floor. Definitely recommend!
